Daybreak Red and Daybreak Blue from OpenAI are now available to eligible customers on Amazon Bedrock

New Security Models on Amazon Bedrock

Security teams can now access Daybreak Red and Daybreak Blue from OpenAI on Amazon Bedrock. These models are part of Daybreak, a cyber defense initiative from OpenAI that provides defenders with governed access to advanced AI for cybersecurity tasks.

Daybreak Blue

Daybreak Blue is designed for defensive workflows including vulnerability discovery, detection engineering, and incident response.

Daybreak Red

Daybreak Red is tailored for advanced tasks such as vulnerability research, exploit reproduction, and mitigation development. It features a lower refusal threshold, stronger identity verification, monitoring, and access controls.

Availability

Both models are available in the US East (N. Virginia) region on Amazon Bedrock. Access requires enrollment in Daybreak access from OpenAI. To enroll, contact OpenAI or your AWS account team.

• Contact OpenAI or your AWS account team for Daybreak access enrollment.
• Once approved, request access on AWS.
