Claude Opus 4.5 now available in Amazon Bedrock

Amazon Bedrock Introduces Claude Opus 4.5
Customers can now use Anthropic's latest model, Claude Opus 4.5, in Amazon Bedrock. This model sets new standards in coding, agentic workflows, and office tasks, offering Opus-level intelligence at one-third the cost.
Opus 4.5 excels in professional software engineering tasks, achieving state-of-the-art performance on SWE-bench. It handles ambiguity, reasons about tradeoffs, and can fix bugs requiring reasoning across multiple systems. This model can transform multi-day team development projects into hours-long tasks with improved multilingual coding capabilities.
Opus 4.5 introduces two new capabilities: tool search and tool use examples. These updates enable the model to navigate large tool libraries and accurately execute complex tasks. A new effort parameter, available in beta, allows you to control how much effort is allocated across thinking, tool calls, and responses to balance performance with latency and cost.
