Amazon QuickSight Analysis Item Limits

Review the current limits for different analysis items in Amazon QuickSight:

• Sheets: 20 sheets per analysis
• Visuals: 50 visuals per sheet
• Calculated fields: 2000 per analysis and 500 per dataset*
• Bookmarks: 200 per dashboard
• Custom actions: 10 per visual
• Filter groups: 2000 per analysis
• Filters: 20 filters per filter group
• Parameters: 200 per analysis
• Controls: 200 per sheet
• Text boxes: 100 per sheet
• Image components: 10 per sheet
• Layer map visuals: 5 per sheet

The per dataset limit applies to calculations created in the analysis. Dataset level calculations are not included in this limit.

What to do

• Remove items to optimize analysis performance if limits are exceeded
• New analysis items cannot be added if limits are exceeded
