AWS Transform Available in Kiro and VS Code

AWS Transform, an agentic migration and modernization factory, is now accessible via Kiro and VS Code. This tool compresses enterprise transformation timelines from years to months, handling large-scale infrastructure migrations and continuous tech debt reduction.

New Features

• AWS Transform custom transformations are now available in Kiro and VS Code.
• Choose from AWS-managed transformations for common patterns like Java, Python, and Node.js version upgrades, AWS SDK migrations, or define your own.
• Run transformations repeatedly or across thousands of repositories at once.
• Job state and context are shared across all surfaces, including the web console and CLI.

Regions

• Available in: US East (N. Virginia) and Europe (Frankfurt)
• Supports deploying to: All AWS commercial regions
