AWS Transform for full-stack Windows modernization now supports Aurora PostgreSQL cross-region deployment in 7 more Regions

AWS Transform for Full-Stack Windows Modernization
AWS Transform for full-stack Windows modernization now supports cross-region deployment of converted Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL databases, available in seven additional AWS Regions. This update enhances control over database deployment post-modernization, addressing data residency, latency, and disaster recovery needs.
Customers can upload SQL Server DDL files and specify a target AWS Region during the transformation plan to convert the database and deploy the Aurora PostgreSQL cluster to a different region. This process also updates dependent.NET applications to be PostgreSQL compatible, modifying connection strings and data-access calls.
New Regions Available
- US East (N. Virginia)
- Europe (Frankfurt)
- Europe (London)
- Asia Pacific (Mumbai)
- Asia Pacific (Seoul)
- Asia Pacific (Tokyo)
- Asia Pacific (Sydney)
- Canada (Montreal)
