AWS Shield network security director now supports multi-account analysis

AWS Shield Network Security Director Updates

AWS Shield now offers multi-account network security management and automated network analysis for Network Security Director, currently in preview. This service provides visibility into AWS resources in your organization, identifies missing or misconfigured network security services, and recommends remediation steps.

With Network Security Director, you can:

• Specify a delegated administrator account for continuous network analysis across multiple accounts or organizational units in your AWS Organization.
• Centrally view each account’s network topology, security findings, and recommended remediations.
• Summarize and report on network security misconfigurations from within Amazon Q Developer and chat applications.

Network Security Director is now available in five additional regions: Europe (Ireland), Europe (Frankfurt), Asia Pacific (Hong Kong), Asia Pacific (Singapore), and Australia (Sydney).
