AWS Security Hub Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) now supports automated security checks that align with the Cyber Risk Institute (CRI) profile. This framework harmonizes cybersecurity and regulatory expectations for the financial services sector into a common set of requirements.

• New Feature: Support for CRI Profile v2.2 requirements with 404 controls.
• Availability: Available in all AWS Regions where Security Hub CSPM is offered, including AWS GovCloud (US) and China Regions.
• Recommendation: Use Security Hub central configuration to enable the standard across your AWS environment.

What to do

• Enable the CRI Profile standard in your accounts and regions via Security Hub central configuration.
• Subscribe to the Security Hub SNS topic for feature and control updates.
• Try Security Hub CSPM at no cost for 30 days with the AWS Free Tier.
