AWS Parallel Computing Service (PCS) now supports Slurm CLI Filter plugins

AWS Parallel Computing Service (PCS) Updates
AWS PCS now supports Slurm CLI Filter plugins, allowing you to customize how Slurm schedules and processes your HPC workloads without modifying Slurm directly.
With CLI Filter plugins, you can define custom policies for job submission, such as verifying job flags or fields, automatically rejecting jobs without specific attributes, or modifying job parameters.
PCS is a managed service that simplifies running and scaling HPC workloads on AWS using Slurm. It integrates compute, storage, networking, and visualization, and includes managed updates and observability features.
What to do
- Explore the new Slurm CLI Filter plugins in the PCS User Guide.
- Define custom policies for job submission to enhance your HPC workflows.
