AWS Lambda Durable Execution SDK for Go

AWS has made available the AWS Lambda Durable Execution SDK for Go, allowing Go developers to create resilient, long-running workflows using Lambda durable functions. This SDK enables the development of multi-step applications such as infrastructure automation, deployment rollouts with approval gates, and AI model pipelines that require human review.

Lambda durable functions extend Lambda's event-driven model with automatic progress checkpointing and the ability to pause execution for up to a year while waiting for external events. The SDK offers a native Go experience, including progress tracking, callback integration, durable invocation, and efficient suspension.

Developers can integrate the SDK into their Go modules using go get, deploy functions as static binaries on the provided.al2023 runtime, and test workflows locally with the durabletest package. The durablelint analyzer helps catch potential workflow issues before deployment.
