AWS Backup announces PrivateLink support for SAP HANA on AWS

AWS Backup PrivateLink Support for SAP HANA on EC2
AWS Backup now supports AWS PrivateLink for SAP HANA systems running on Amazon EC2, allowing customers to route all backup traffic through private network connections without traversing the public internet. This feature helps organizations meet security and compliance requirements for regulated workloads.
Customers in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, and government agencies can now ensure that all traffic remains on private networks. This release enables secure, private communication with AWS Backup storage endpoints, maintaining end-to-end private connectivity for both application traffic and backup data.
What to do
- Update your Backint agent
- Add the backup-storage VPCE to your VPC
