AWS Advanced Ruby Driver Wrapper Release
The AWS Advanced Ruby Driver Wrapper is now available for Amazon RDS and Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL and MySQL-compatible databases. This driver improves switchover and failover times, supports multiple authentication mechanisms, and integrates seamlessly with ActiveRecord.
What to do
- Enable the wrapper without changing your application code.
- Use the provided aws_postgresql and aws_mysql2 adapters.
- Refer to the GitHub repository for setup instructions.
