Amazon Bedrock Guardrails Automated Refinement Workflows

AWS introduces new automated refinement workflows for Automated Reasoning checks in Amazon Bedrock Guardrails. These workflows use formal logic to validate generative AI responses against defined policies, improving reliability and reducing manual effort.

New Workflows

• Iterative Policy Improvement: Allows customers to start an iterative refinement run to deduce policy changes needed to pass natural language tests.
• Ambiguity Reduction: Automatically refines variable descriptions and type definitions to reduce ambiguous translations.

Availability

These workflows are available in all AWS Regions where Automated Reasoning checks in Amazon Bedrock Guardrails are offered.

What to do

• Start a workflow by choosing "Refine policy" on the policy page in the AWS Management Console.
• Utilize the Amazon Bedrock APIs for workflow management.
