AWS introduces Amazon EC2 X8aedz, next-generation memory-optimized instances powered by 5th Gen AMD EPYC processors. These instances offer the highest CPU frequency in the cloud, up to 5GHz, delivering up to 2x higher compute performance and 31% better price-performance compared to previous generation X2iezn instances.
Built with the latest sixth-generation AWS Nitro Cards, X8aedz instances are ideal for EDA workloads and relational databases requiring high single-threaded processor performance and large memory footprints.
