Amazon Lightsail Database Bundles Update

Amazon Lightsail now offers two larger database bundles with up to 8 vCPUs, 32GB memory, and 960GB SSD storage. These new bundles are available in both standard and high-availability plans and support MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.

These new database bundles enable scaling of database workloads and running more data-intensive applications in Lightsail, ideal for production workloads requiring increased storage capacity and processing power.

What to do

  • Create MySQL and PostgreSQL databases using the new Lightsail managed database bundles.
  • Scale your database workloads for applications like e-commerce platforms, content management systems, business intelligence applications, and SaaS products.
