Amazon Timestream for InfluxDB now offers support for InfluxDB 3, enabling developers and DevOps teams to run InfluxDB 3 databases as a managed service. This new architecture leverages Apache Arrow, Apache DataFusion, and Parquet storage for high-performance data processing and large-scale analytical workloads.
New Features
- Support for InfluxDB 3 databases as a managed service.
- Built on Apache Arrow for in-memory data processing.
- Apache DataFusion for query execution.
- Columnar Parquet storage format with data persistence in Amazon S3.
- Two editions available: Core and Enterprise.
- Enterprise edition supports multi-node cluster configurations with up to 3 nodes.
