Amazon Redshift Serverless Updates

Amazon Redshift Serverless now offers a lower base capacity configuration of 4 Redshift Processing Units (RPUs) in several regions. This update allows users to start with a more affordable entry point and scale as needed.

  • Lower base capacity configuration of 4 RPUs in multiple regions.
  • Pay-per-second billing for RPU-hours.
  • Capacity reservations with 1-year and 3-year terms for predictable workloads.
