Amazon RDS for SQL Server Developer Edition in AWS GovCloud (US) Regions

Amazon RDS for SQL Server now offers Microsoft SQL Server Developer Edition in the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions. This edition allows customers to reduce costs associated with building and testing applications. SQL Server Developer Edition is a free, full-featured version of Microsoft SQL Server, licensed for development, testing, and demonstration (non-production) workloads. It includes all functionalities of the premium Enterprise edition and supports all Amazon RDS for SQL Server features such as automated backups, automated software updates, monitoring, and encryption. It is available for SQL Server 2019 and SQL Server 2022.
