Amazon RDS for MariaDB Updates

Amazon RDS for MariaDB now supports community MariaDB minor versions 10.6.25, 10.11.16, 11.4.10, and 11.8.6. It is recommended to upgrade to the latest minor versions to address security vulnerabilities, benefit from bug fixes, performance improvements, and new features added by the MariaDB community.

Automatic Minor Version Upgrades

Automatic minor version upgrades are available to automatically upgrade your databases to more recent minor versions during scheduled maintenance windows.

Managed Blue/Green Deployments

Leverage Amazon RDS Managed Blue/Green deployments for safer, simpler, and faster updates to your MariaDB instances.
