Amazon Lightsail Now Available in Malaysia

Starting today, Amazon Lightsail is available in the Asia Pacific (Malaysia) Region, offering lower latency and better performance for applications in Malaysia and nearby countries while meeting local data residency requirements.

Customers can now access Lightsail's full range of features, including various instance types and managed services, with the same pricing model.

What to do

  • Utilize the new Malaysia Region for improved application performance.
  • Explore Lightsail's features through the Lightsail Console, AWS CLI, and AWS SDKs.
