Amazon EMR Serverless General Availability

Amazon EMR Serverless is now generally available in six additional AWS Regions: Asia Pacific (Hyderabad), Asia Pacific (Malaysia), Asia Pacific (New Zealand), Asia Pacific (Taipei), Asia Pacific (Thailand), and Mexico (Central).

EMR Serverless simplifies running petabyte-scale data analytics in the cloud, allowing you to run Apache Spark and Apache Hive applications without managing clusters. It offers automatic scaling, fast launch times, customizable worker configurations, and supports batch, interactive, and streaming workloads.
