Amazon ElastiCache Global Datastore now supports tagging and tag-based access control

Amazon ElastiCache now supports resource tagging and tag-based access control (TBAC) for Global Datastore. This allows you to apply a consistent permission and cost-allocation model across your ElastiCache fleet.

• New Feature: Tagging and TBAC for Global Datastore
• Actions: Use AddTagsToResource, RemoveTagsFromResource, and ListTagsForResource on Global Datastore
• Benefits: Automatic propagation of tag changes to every Region, consistent access-control and cost-allocation policies
• No Additional Cost: No change to how you create or manage Global Datastores
• Availability: Available in all AWS Regions where ElastiCache Global Datastore is available
