Amazon ElastiCache for Valkey

ElastiCache Insights, a pre-built dashboard in Amazon CloudWatch, is now available for your node-based clusters. It provides a comprehensive view of cluster health, memory, compute, network, command throughput, latency, keyspace, and errors through OpenTelemetry metrics.

You can monitor cache workloads, detect resource limits, and filter views by cluster, shard, node, or Availability Zone. Additionally, you can save a copy of the dashboard as a starting point for a custom dashboard.

To start using ElastiCache Insights, open the Metrics tab for a cluster in the Amazon ElastiCache console and select View in ElastiCache Insights. You can also access it under Infrastructure Monitoring in the Amazon CloudWatch console.

What to do

• Open the Metrics tab for a cluster in the Amazon ElastiCache console.
• Select View in ElastiCache Insights.
• Customize your dashboard based on your workload needs.
