Amazon EKS Capability for Argo CD Updates

The Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) Capability for Argo CD now supports custom configuration through a standard argocd-cm ConfigMap in your cluster. This capability provides a fully managed GitOps continuous delivery experience, allowing you to tailor it to your team's workflow.

  • Custom Health Checks: Define custom health checks for your Custom Resources.
  • UI Customization: Customize the Argo CD UI banner content.
  • Resource Management: Adjust how the capability watches and compares the resources it manages.
  • Built-in Health Checks: Includes built-in health checks for AWS Controllers for Kubernetes (ACK) and kro resources.

What to do

  • Configure custom settings in the argocd-cm ConfigMap.
  • Define custom health checks to ensure resources are ready before progressing.
  • Customize the Argo CD UI banner content for better visibility.
