Amazon EC2 M9g and M9gd Instances Available Now
Amazon EC2 M9g and M9gd instances, powered by AWS Graviton5 processors, are now generally available. These instances offer up to 25% better compute performance compared to previous generations and are ideal for a variety of workloads including AI, databases, web applications, and machine learning.
M9g instances are suitable for general-purpose workloads, while M9gd instances provide local NVMe-based SSD storage for high-speed, low-latency needs. Both instances are built on the sixth-generation AWS Nitro System and feature the Nitro Isolation Engine for enhanced security.
