Amazon EC2 M8g Instances Now Available in Additional Regions
Starting today, Amazon EC2 M8g instances are available in new regions including Asia Pacific (Thailand, Jakarta, Melbourne) and AWS Middle East (UAE). These instances are powered by AWS Graviton4 processors, offering up to 30% better performance compared to Graviton3-based instances.
M8g instances are ideal for general-purpose workloads such as application servers, microservices, gaming servers, midsize data stores, and caching fleets. They are built on the AWS Nitro System, enhancing performance and security by offloading CPU virtualization, storage, and networking functions to dedicated hardware and software.
Key Benefits

- Instance Sizes: Available in 12 different sizes, including two bare metal sizes.
