Amazon EC2 M8azn Instances Now Available in US East (Ohio) Region
Amazon EC2 M8azn instances, powered by fifth generation AMD EPYC processors, are now available in the US East (Ohio) Region. These instances offer up to 5GHz CPU frequency, 2x compute performance compared to M5zn instances, and 24% higher performance than M8a instances. Key benefits include:
- Memory Bandwidth: Up to 4.3x higher than M5zn instances
- L3 Cache: 10x larger than M5zn instances
- Networking Throughput: Up to 2x higher than M5zn instances
- EBS Throughput: Up to 3x higher than M5zn instances
These instances are ideal for real-time financial analytics, high-performance computing, CI/CD, and more. Available in 9 sizes ranging from 2 to 96 vCPUs with up to 384 GiB of memory.
