Amazon EC2 G7e Instances Now Available in Los Angeles Local Zone

AWS has made Amazon EC2 G7e instances available in the Los Angeles Local Zone, featuring powerful GPUs and Intel processors for high-performance computing.

Key Features

  • NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs
  • 5th generation Intel Xeon Scalable (Emerald Rapids) processors
  • Low-latency access to local storage
  • Support for creative and AI workloads

What to do

  • Opt-in to the Los Angeles Local Zone (us-west-2-lax-1b)
  • Enable G7e instances via the Amazon EC2 console, AWS CLI, or AWS SDKs
  • Choose between On Demand and Savings Plans
