Amazon EC2 G7e Instances Now Available
Amazon has announced the general availability of Amazon EC2 G7e instances, powered by NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, offering up to 2.3x inference performance compared to G6e instances. Ideal for large language models, agentic AI, multimodal generative AI, and physical AI models, G7e instances provide the highest performance for spatial computing and graphics-intensive AI workloads.
Key features include:
- GPUs: Up to 8 NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs with 96 GB of memory each
- CPUs: 5th Generation Intel Xeon processors
- vCPUs: Up to 192
- Networking: Up to 1600 Gbps of Elastic Fabric Adapter networking bandwidth
- Features: Support for NVIDIA GPUDirect Peer to Peer (P2P) and Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) with EFAv4 in EC2 UltraClusters
