Amazon EC2 G7 Instances Now Available
Amazon EC2 G7 instances powered by NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs are now available in the US East (N. Virginia) Region. These instances offer up to 4.6x AI inference performance and up to 2.1x graphics performance compared to G6 instances. They also support GPU-accelerated data analytics workloads.
G7 instances are ideal for deploying AI models for language translation, video and image analysis, and speech recognition. They also accelerate graphics workloads such as real-time, cinematic-quality graphics and game streaming. Additionally, they support video transcoding, spatial computing, and data analytics workloads.
- AI Inference Performance: Up to 4.6x compared to G6 instances
- Graphics Performance: Up to 2.1x compared to G6 instances
- GPUs: Up to 8 NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs
- Memory per GPU: 32 GB
- Processors: Custom Intel Xeon 6 processors
- vCPUs: Up to 192
- Networking Bandwidth: Up to 700 Gbps
- System Memory: Up to 768 GiB
- Local Storage: Up to 7.6 TB of NVMe SSD storage
What to do
- Start using G7 instances in US East (N. Virginia and Ohio), and US West (Oregon) Regions.
- Purchase G7 instances as On-Demand Instances, Spot Instances, or as part of Savings Plans.
- Use the AWS Management Console, AWS CLI, and AWS SDKs to get started.
