Amazon EC2 G6 Instances Now Available in AWS European Sovereign Cloud
Starting today, Amazon EC2 G6 instances powered by NVIDIA L4 GPUs are available in AWS European Sovereign Cloud (Germany). These instances are ideal for graphics-intensive and machine learning (ML) use cases, including natural language processing, language translation, video and image analysis, speech recognition, and personalization. They also support graphics workloads like real-time, cinematic-quality graphics and game streaming.
Key features include:
- GPUs: Up to 8 NVIDIA L4 Tensor Core GPUs with 24 GB of memory per GPU
- Processors: Third generation AMD EPYC processors
- vCPUs: Up to 192 vCPUs
- Network Bandwidth: Up to 100 Gbps
- Storage: Up to 7.52 TB of local NVMe SSD storage
These instances are also available in multiple regions including US East, US West, Europe, Asia Pacific, South America, Middle East, and Canada. Customers can purchase G6 instances as On-Demand Instances, Spot Instances, or as part of Savings Plans.
