Amazon EC2 C8gn instances are now available in additional regions

Amazon EC2 C8gn Instances Available in New Regions
Starting today, Amazon EC2 C8gn instances, powered by the latest-generation AWS Graviton4 processors, are available in the AWS US East (Ohio) and Middle East (UAE) Regions. These instances offer up to 30% better compute performance than Graviton3-based C7gn instances, featuring the latest 6th generation AWS Nitro Cards, and up to 600 Gbps network bandwidth.
C8gn instances provide enhanced networking capabilities, ideal for scaling performance and throughput while optimizing costs for network-intensive workloads such as network virtual appliances, data analytics, and CPU-based AI/ML inference.
Key features include:
- Instance Sizes: Up to 48xlarge
- Memory: Up to 384 GiB
- Bandwidth: Up to 60 Gbps to Amazon EBS
- Networking: Support for Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) on select sizes for lower latency and improved cluster performance
C8gn instances are available in the following AWS Regions: US East (N. Virginia, Ohio), US West (Oregon, N.California), Europe (Frankfurt, Stockholm), Asia Pacific (Singapore, Malaysia, Sydney, Thailand), Middle East (UAE).
