Amazon EC2 C8gn Instances Now Available

Amazon EC2 C8gn instances, powered by AWS Graviton4 processors, are now available in Europe (Milan) and Asia Pacific (Hong Kong) regions. These instances offer up to 30% better compute performance than Graviton3-based C7gn instances, with enhanced networking capabilities and up to 600 Gbps network bandwidth.

Key features include:

• Performance: Up to 30% better compute performance
• Networking: Up to 600 Gbps network bandwidth
• Instance Sizes: Up to 48xlarge, up to 384 GiB of memory, up to 120 Gbps EBS bandwidth
• EFA Support: Available on 16xlarge, 24xlarge, 48xlarge, metal-24xl, and metal-48xl sizes

These instances are ideal for network-intensive workloads such as network virtual appliances, data analytics, and AI/ML inference.
