Amazon EC2 C8gn Instances Now Available

Amazon EC2 C8gn instances, powered by AWS Graviton4 processors, are now available in Europe (Frankfurt, Stockholm) and Asia Pacific (Singapore). These instances offer up to 30% better compute performance than Graviton3-based C7gn instances, with up to 600 Gbps network bandwidth and support for Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) networking on select sizes.

What to do

  • Scale performance and throughput for network-intensive workloads.
  • Optimize cost for workloads such as network virtual appliances, data analytics, and AI/ML inference.
  • Utilize instance sizes up to 48xlarge with up to 384 GiB of memory and 60 Gbps of EBS bandwidth.
