Amazon DocumentDB Now Available in New Regions

Amazon DocumentDB (with MongoDB compatibility) is now available in the AWS Asia Pacific (Osaka), Asia Pacific (Thailand), Asia Pacific (Malaysia) and Mexico (Central) Regions. This fully managed, native JSON database simplifies the operation of critical document workloads at any scale without managing infrastructure.

Key features include:

  • Scalability and durability for mission-critical MongoDB workloads
  • Support for millions of requests per second
  • Up to 15 low latency read replicas with no application downtime
  • Automatic storage scaling up to 128 TiB
  • Native integration with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, AWS Lambda, AWS Backup, and more
