Amazon DocumentDB Now Available in Europe (Zurich) Region

Amazon DocumentDB (with MongoDB compatibility) is now available in the Europe (Zurich) region, expanding its availability to more regions.

Amazon DocumentDB is a fully managed, native JSON database that simplifies and cost-effectively operates critical document workloads at any scale without managing infrastructure. It provides the scalability and durability needed for mission-critical MongoDB workloads, with automatic storage scaling up to 128TiB without application impact. It integrates with AWS Database Migration Service, Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, AWS Lambda, AWS Backup, and more. Amazon DocumentDB supports millions of requests per second and can be scaled out to 15 low latency read replicas in minutes without downtime.

To create an Amazon DocumentDB cluster, use the AWS Management console, AWS CLI, or SDK.
