Amazon Connect Customer custom metrics now supports tag-based access control

Amazon Connect Customer now supports tag-based access control for custom metrics, allowing you to manage which users and roles can view, create, or modify each custom metric.

With this feature, you can tag each metric and set access controls accordingly. Teams can have full control over their own metrics, view-only access to others' metrics, and restricted visibility for metrics you want to limit access to. Search functionality adheres to the same access rules, ensuring users only see metrics they are permitted to view or manage.

This feature is available in all AWS Regions where Amazon Connect Customer is offered.

What to do

• Review your current custom metrics and consider tagging them for better access control.
• Update your access control policies to leverage the new tagging feature.
