Amazon CloudWatch Introduces In-Console Agent Management on EC2

Amazon CloudWatch Agent Management in Console
Amazon CloudWatch now offers an in-console experience for automated installation and configuration of the Amazon CloudWatch agent on EC2 instances. This new experience provides visibility into agent status across your EC2 fleet, performs automatic detection of supported workloads, and leverages CloudWatch observability solutions to recommend monitoring configurations based on detected workloads.
What to do
- Deploy the CloudWatch agent through one-click installation to individual instances.
- Create tag-based policies for automated fleet-wide management.
- Ensure newly launched instances are automatically configured with the appropriate monitoring settings.
