Amazon Bedrock Managed Knowledge Base Updates

AWS introduces new APIs and console features for Amazon Bedrock Managed Knowledge Base to help debug document access issues and audit permissions.

New APIs

  • CheckIngestedDocumentAcl: Verify if a specific user has access to a given ingested document.
  • GetIngestedDocumentAcl: Retrieve the full ACL attached to a document for auditing permissions.

Console Enhancements

  • New Document Access Control section on the data source details page.
  • Check access by entering a document ID and user email.
  • Retrieve a document's full ACL by document ID.

  • Use the new APIs to debug and audit document access control issues.
  • Leverage the console features to manage access control at scale.
