Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Updates
Amazon Bedrock AgentCore introduces new features including Policy (preview) and Evaluations (preview) to enhance agent deployment across organizations.
New Features
- Policy (preview): Integrates with AgentCore Gateway to intercept tool calls in real time, ensuring agents adhere to defined boundaries using natural language converted to Cedar policy language.
- Evaluations (preview): Helps developers test and monitor agent performance based on real-world behavior using built-in evaluators or custom scoring systems, accessible through a unified dashboard powered by Amazon CloudWatch.
- AgentCore Memory: Now includes episodic memory, enabling agents to learn and adapt from experiences over time.
- AgentCore Runtime: Supports bidirectional streaming for natural conversations, allowing agents to listen and respond simultaneously while handling interruptions and context changes.
- AgentCore Identity: Now supports custom claims for enhanced authentication rules across multi-tenant environments.
