Amazon Bedrock AgentCore is now generally available, offering a platform to build, deploy, and operate agents securely at scale. Key updates include:
- VPC Support: Secure, private agent deployment.
- AgentCore Runtime: Eight-hour execution windows, complete session isolation, and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol support.
- AgentCore Gateway: Connects to Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, transforms APIs and Lambda functions into agent-compatible tools.
- AgentCore Identity: Identity-aware authorization, secure vault storage for refresh tokens, and OAuth-enabled service integration.
- AgentCore Observability: Complete visibility into agent execution and operational metrics through Amazon CloudWatch, OTEL compatibility.
Available in nine AWS Regions: US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Europe (Frankfurt), and Europe (Ireland).
