Amazon Aurora DSQL Enhancements

Amazon Aurora DSQL now supports index creation on NUMERIC data types. This enhancement allows the use of NUMERIC columns in both primary keys and secondary indexes, improving query performance for workloads that require high-precision values such as currency amounts, measurements, and statistical data.

This feature is available in all Regions where Aurora DSQL is available. For more information, refer to the Supported data types in Aurora DSQL documentation.
