Amazon Aurora DSQL now supports FIPS 140-3 compliant endpoints

Amazon Aurora DSQL FIPS 140-3 Support
Amazon Aurora DSQL now supports Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-3 compliant endpoints, aiding companies with US federal government contracts to meet FIPS security requirements for encrypting sensitive data in supported regions. This feature allows the use of Aurora DSQL for workloads needing a FIPS 140-3 validated cryptographic module when sending requests over public or VPC endpoints.
Aurora DSQL is a fast, serverless, distributed SQL database with single- and multi-Region clusters offering active-active high availability and strong consistency. It enables building applications with virtually unlimited scalability, high availability, and zero infrastructure management.
FIPS 140-3 compliant endpoints are available in the following regions: US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), and US West (Oregon).
