AWS announces the general availability of AgentCore payments, enabling AI agents to autonomously discover, access, and pay for paid APIs, MCPs, and content with minimal code. It provides security, guardrails, and observability for production deployment.

• Support for the Machine Payment Protocol (MPP).
• "Upto" scheme in the x402 protocol for pay-per-inference and dynamic pricing.
